Sure, the connector in the plug on the wiring harness (see diagram C-D2)


is slightly corroded creating a diode effect and affecting the ignition startup sequence, all it took was one moment of mis-matched impedance to send an errant signal to the camera completely de-synching (see chart AACC for synchronization series - a for northern hemisphere, -b for southern hemisphere (be sure you bought the correct car)) the camera feed. No bueno. However, after you drove the car for a while, the parts warmed up as the day warmed up and the plug was more firmly connected to the camera input overcoming any impedance issues caused by the corrosion and the camera was able to sync up with the computer and the object avoidance system (see diagram LL1-af) Simple really.
